Custom Equestrian Fine Jewellery

Letting go of your forever horse leaves you with a heart so broken it can take a lifetime to mend. While no amount of precious metal and stones can repair your heart, a custom designed braided ring or necklace allows you to keep a small part of your horse close to you. Forever.

Braided jewellery can be made in gold or silver and can be set with precious stones. All braided rings are made to measure, and a silver model will be sent to you to ensure the correct finger size and width. To create the braid, we require enough hair that, when twisted, it is the thickness of a pencil, with a minimum length of 30 centimetres, preferably longer. We can create braids of different widths with a variety of hair colours. We are happy to provide sample braids prior to designing the jewellery.

All unused hair will be returned. And we recommend you store your horsehair in a safe place to replace the braid if needed or create new jewellery.

Not only does it mean we stand behind every piece of jewellery we make, but it also means we can adapt the piece to your preference. Chains can be too long or too short. You might need larger butterflies for your earrings. You might prefer heavier chains or a difference size diamond or pearl. Your preferences are legitimate, and we are happy to make changes to any Palomino Jewel if you so wish.

There is something deeply personal about giving new life to gems passed down through generations. It pays testament to the past and invests your new jewellery with meaning. The designers at Palomino Jewels are able to rework your jewels and transform them into an entirely new piece of jewellery. You will receive a 1:1 scale blue print and quote prior to proceeding with any work so you will know exactly how your new jewels will look and how much the work will cost.
